White Bedroom Headboard

I scored this headboard with foot board and side rails from an Estate sale. The way it was built and aging on the wood and rails, it was obviously pretty old. I wanted it to be a lighter color so I painted it in a bright white

It looked wonderful once painted and I went ahead and started distressing it. Since it was an older headboard and while I wanted to freshened up, I felt a heavier distressing was fit.

Here are both the headboard and foot board painted white, distressed, and finished.

And, here it is in place. Just lovely….
